The real sky, not a pretty pattern
Most star-map gifts use a generic scatter of dots. StarForge calculates the sky from a real star catalogue for the exact coordinates and minute you enter — up to about 1,600 stars.
Then you choose what goes on top: constellation lines, the Milky Way, the zodiac constellation of that date, the ecliptic, a compass ring and the true phase of the moon. If the moon was below the horizon that night, it is honestly left out.

Questions
Do I need special software?
No. StarForge runs in your browser and gives you standard 3MF and STL files that open in Bambu Studio, Orca Slicer, PrusaSlicer and other slicers.
Which printers does it work with?
Any FDM printer. The three sizes per shape are matched to Bambu Lab plates (A1 mini, A1 / P1S / X1C, H2S / H2D), and the smaller sizes fit most other printers.
How do I print two colours with a single nozzle?
The base and the raised relief are separate bodies. Add one filament change at 3 mm in your slicer and you get a clean two-colour plate. With an AMS, open the 3MF and assign two filaments.
Is the sky really accurate?
Yes. The sky is calculated from a real star catalogue for the exact place and minute you enter, up to about 1,600 stars, with the true phase of the moon.
How many devices can I use?
One code works on up to 3 of your own devices. You can sign out on one device to free a place for another.
Can I sell the star maps I print?
Yes, with the Studio tier: it includes a commercial print licence, and the licence number is embedded in every 3MF. Explorer and Maker are for personal use and gifts.
