About this model
This model captures a Basset Hound in full rockstar mode, living up to his "Dog Star" name. He’s got his sunglasses on, his long ears hanging low, and he’s laying down a groove on a bass guitar. It’s a fun, quirky piece that looks great on a desk, a music shelf, or next to a record player. I focused on making the pose feel natural, from the way his paws grip the fretboard to his nonchalant expression behind the shades. The circular base gives it a clean, finished look. It’s a simple, high-character print for any musician or dog lover who appreciates a bit of attitude.
--- I test all my models with default Bambu Lab slicer settings: 0.2mm layer height, 10% infill, tree supports. No complex tweaks needed. If a model requires special settings, I include a prepared 3MF file (rare).
Printing tips
- 0.12–0.16 mm layers bring out sculpted detail.
- Tree supports peel more cleanly from organic shapes.
- Silk or matte PLA hides layer lines on busts.
