About this model
This little guy looks like he’s found the quietest spot in the forest to catch up on some reading. It’s a classic fantasy-style gnome sitting cross-legged right on top of a large mushroom. He’s wearing a tall, floppy wizard-style hat that covers most of his face, leaving just a big, bushy beard visible while he focuses on the small book held in his hands. The mushroom itself has some nice texture on the cap and the stem, giving it a bit of a natural, earthy look. It’s a fun piece for a bookshelf or a desk if you like fantasy decor or traditional gnomes. It has a cozy, studious vibe that fits well in a home library or office.
--- I test all my models with default Bambu Lab slicer settings: 0.2mm layer height, 10% infill, tree supports. No complex tweaks needed. If a model requires special settings, I include a prepared 3MF file (rare).
Printing tips
- 0.12–0.16 mm layers bring out sculpted detail.
- Tree supports peel more cleanly from organic shapes.
- Silk or matte PLA hides layer lines on busts.
