About this model
This model features a classic gothic gargoyle perched atop a weathered stone base. It has all the traditional features you would expect from cathedral-style architecture: large bat-like wings, sharp horns, and a menacing facial expression with bared fangs. The creature is sculpted in a crouching pose, with its claws firmly gripping the edge of the stone plinth. There is a lot of detail in the musculature and the texture of the wings, giving it a heavy, stone-carved look. It is a great piece for anyone who likes dark fantasy or gothic decor for their shelf or desk.
--- I test all my models with default Bambu Lab slicer settings: 0.2mm layer height, 10% infill, tree supports. No complex tweaks needed. If a model requires special settings, I include a prepared 3MF file (rare).
Printing tips
- 0.12–0.16 mm layers bring out sculpted detail.
- Tree supports peel more cleanly from organic shapes.
- Silk or matte PLA hides layer lines on busts.
