About this model
This articulated octopus model puts a unique twist on the classic design. Instead of a smooth head, this one features a textured mantle that looks like it’s covered in small barnacles or coral growth. The tentacles are fully jointed, giving it that satisfying floppy movement that makes it a great desk toy or fidget. It sits nicely on a shelf, and the detail around the eyes gives it a bit of personality. --- I test all my models with default Bambu Lab slicer settings: 0.2mm layer height, 10% infill, tree supports. No complex tweaks needed. If a model requires special settings, I include a prepared 3MF file (rare).
Printing tips
- A clean first layer keeps the joint gaps open.
- Flex each joint gently after printing to free it.
- Bright or silk PLA makes flexi toys pop.
